Update: I added some temporary felt “Very Hungry Caterpillar” eyes to the hat for her Halloween costume (2013). I also made her butterfly wings. She was supposed to be the butterfly from the book and my son was supposed to be the caterpillar. However, Emilie wouldn’t wear her wings and Evan wouldn’t wear the body to his caterpillar costume. Hopefully I’ll get some better pics later.

I will probably blog about how to make the wings later.

Crafts are my Prozac

This is the pointy version of the hat. She is about 15 months old in the solid pictures of the hat and she is 2 1/2 years old with the Hungry Caterpillar eyes version.
