I am writing the pattern as I make this one up, realizing how good it is for swatching colors before a sweater.

The one I’m making now is red and black and white, which I thought was a good idea until images of the Third Reich popped in my head, and won’t go away.

Anyway, I will soldier on, so to speak, and be glad I just have a nazi hat and not a whole nazi sweater in the end.
