The border I decided to do instead of the prescribed ruffle in the original pattern for the purple crocodile stitch blanket.

Base round in dark purple. Then one row in the grey purple, the feature row in dark purple, one row in pink purple, ending on a row in dark purple.

I tried so hard to space the stitches correctly but somehow it’s ended up ruffling and I’m really quite upset about this. Maybe that’s why the original pattern did have a ruffle pattern. Maybe you can’t have anything else with crocodile stitch. I don’t know and didn’t realise it was ruffling until I finished the whole thing and laid it out. Damn it. So bummed out about this.
