Herma shawl - questions and discussions thread

I’ m in love with blue, so new Herma blue and gray, winter version.

Love this yarn and love this shawl!
Here worked with 4,5mm (US 7) needle and 5mm (US 8) needle.
Mind you - mohair, cotton and glass or mohair and silk …this is wonderfully airy and soft and very light-weight!
I have played a lot with this one and it was a fun knit!

“Cristallo” yarn, row 4,5 mm (US 7) = 196cm x 94cm /77inch x 37inch

Inspired by modern architectural facades.
An unusual and “articulated” construction allowed me to create a reversible shawl worked not by using double knitting technique, but using a 3D knitting technique.
The whole shawl is worked flat, sideways and with no stitches put back on the needles later.
It’s made of 4 sections and each section is worked in a different direction.
