Using clues in Anne Bishop’s Other series to make an Elder.

In the Lakeside Courtyard books:
Referred to as “Namid’s teeth and claws”
Meg asks Jester if a couple of the “cards” in her deck of future telling cards are imaginary and he tells her no and to hide them and hope she never draws those cards out. (something that humans consider imaginary)
Tess doesn’t know if she can harvest enough energy from a creature that big to slow it down enough to get away from it.

In Lake Silence book:
Something extremely big killed two men.
Aggie uses a fuzzy sock to represent the Elder in their version of the “Murder” game.
Vicki thinks she won’t be able to wear that sock again since she would have to see the huge mouth full of teeth and angry eyes looking back at her with every step.

I’m thinking a cross between sock monkey and Yeti!

Should have made the body a little longer, but I didn’t want to play yarn chicken.

One leg done. Attempting to remember what I did so the other one will at least be close to same size and shape.

Decided to wait to add the claws all at one time. Still haven’t decided what the eyes and brows will look like.

Finally finished adding all the claws. Didn’t think black brows would look good so made two small rolls to form the frown/angry browline.

I went with large black eyes. Maybe a little fabric stiffener or nail polish on the claws will keep them straight!
