You certainly don’t need the amount of yarn indicated by the pattern. I only needed a few inches from my 5th ball to finish the bind off. If I had stopped one row short I would have been ok with only 4 balls.

This pattern makes an extremely wide scarf. I’m not sure it will be comfortable to wear because it is so wide. It’s also not reversible so it looks a little funny when the wrong side shows. All in all, I feel pretty “meh” about the project.

The yarn was lovely to work with. I love the sheen from the silk, especially in the silver color. I will absolutely knit with it again.
