Notes

This was a fun pattern. Well written and easy to follow. After the first half repeat I had the chart memorized. I knit this on a 9” Addi circ and loved it. No switching needles or dangling cables, just around and around and around knitting.

I added an extra repeat to the leg to make the socks taller.

The yarn is beautiful and super soft. Because it’s a single ply it’s rather splitty. I also had one section of one ball that where the yarn was spun extremely thick--like probably a dk--I didn’t want to mess up the color gradation so I just knit the thick part into the sock and now it’s got a dense strip in the middle of the gusset.

Overall and easy and beautiful lace sock.

I do not have these socks anymore. The yarn just did not hold up and holes wore through the balls of the feet super quickly. I would not use this yarn for socks again.
