Notes

I made this basically because I was curious about the pattern. It was quite a quick interesting knit once I actually set down to work on it. I made it with a Sock blank dyed for me by schknitz in a swap.

I realized that the blank alone would not be enough, so I dragged out some old Encore from my stash. The first and last stripes are 7 ridges. The body stripes are 5 ridges main color, 2 ridges contrast.

There were a ton of ends to weave in when the knitting was done. Part of the reason the finishing took so long. Also, I had to get buttons. I found the best buttons on etsy from Orly Rabinowitz.

I will probably end up donating this to some charity since I don’t know anyone with kids or likely to have kids soon. The pattern is everything that everyone says it is.
