Notes

Had cold hands, went to the yarn store for a needle and ended up walking by this pattern pamphlet and yarn… somehow, a few days later, I have lovely new mitts and warmer hands.

Strangely, I had major gauge issues between mitts, and despite being the same number of rows, one mitt is about an inch shorter than the other. Should probably start making such things two-at-a-time…

Be sure to block as instructions say--by beating the FO. Makes the mitts super soft… and it’s kinda fun.

I was hoping I could get two pairs of mitts from one ball, but the first pair used a bit more than half. I could make the second pair shorter

I have been wearing these a lot lately because we had an unusual cold snap for Portland and I get so many compliments. I think the color cheers people up since the sun hasn’t been out in over a week.
