This was super quick to knit, but then I got lazy about weaving in ends and blocking. Then because it’s so thick and squishy and Oregon is so wet right now it took FOREVER (said in sandlot voice) to dry. This has a very nubby chunky thick-thin look to it because it’s made from the first yarn I ever spun. It was spun and plied via drop spindle.

I like the convenience of a cowl, the way there are no scarf tails flopping about awkwardly and no need for continuous rewrapping, but as you can see from the pictures, cowls sort of give me fat-face :( I will likely care about this less as the cold sets in later this week.
