Notes

I wanted to make these a bit smaller than called for since I know alpaca tends to grow and stretch.

To make them smaller I simply knit on a size 1 needles rather than a 2 and did 5 repeats of the lace pattern rather than 6.

I just had to crack into my second skein for the thumb of the second mitt. I was really hoping I could get by with just one skein, but unless I made the even smaller it would not have been possible.

As it is, I would say that the yarn quality is fantastic, but the kits are a little spendy for what you get. The box with the pattern and the yarn was $40, but the yarn alone would only cost $28. That’s a lot to pay for a pattern and pretty packaging.
