Fun pattern! Used as a class project to focus on cables and other textured stitches as well. Very clear chart.

This yarn has a bit of a “crunchy” feel to it, so its not super soft in your hand as you knit. That being said, it has great stitch definition for the cables. After blocking it’s much softer.
