Notes

These started off as socks that Andrew was learning to knit. He wanted to do one at a time on two circs so I set it up that way for him. Then he decided that a fingering weight project might be a little daunting for a first project so the socks fell to me. I’m not a particular fan of doing socks one at a time because when you finish the first one you feel like you’re done and then you realize you’ve only just made it to the half way point. I really like how nice the pattern looks for being just a simple two row repeat. The first sock is finished and I’m on the leg of the second sock. Pictures to come when I can get someone to take them for me.

Finished these a while ago but haven’t gotten around to posting a pic. I love them. I cast on 72 stitches but I think that was 4-8 too many, by the end of the day they get a little loose but it’s nothing I can’t live with. The socks look really classy for how simple the stitch repeat its. The in-progress photos capture the color a bit better. Damn dorm room lighting…
