This was a very quick very easy to follow project. I love the simple garter border around all of the edges. I made this for a little baby boy and I think it’s a nice simple pattern for a boy--I’ve found that lots of knitting patterns on Ravelry are marked “unisex” when they are really very frilly.

This yarn is nice and soft and perfect for kids. I’ve found that it pills some, but not too much and not in a way that makes it look ratty, more in a way that makes it look well used.
