Be careful to crochet very loosely! I thought I was being good and making my slip stitches nice and lose but it’s a bit tight going over the ears.

When I first saw this yarn and Yarnia I didn’t really love it. Then when I saw this pattern in Interweave Knits, I didn’t really love it either. Then one day I had my magazine with me in the store and I looked at this pattern and looked at this yarn and went “mmmmmmm”.

Being mostly bamboo, this wouldn’t serve in a Wisconsin winter, but I think it will do me right here in the Pacific Northwest. I love that the colors are kind of funky but neutral at the same time so it can be worn with lots of things.
