Bob saw mine and wanted an exact replica. He paid for the yarn, and I worked on it while I was studying for the Washington bar exam. I followed the pattern instructions, but I used worsted weight yarn and size 9 needles to get a bigger blanket.

I stopped after the stripe with 10 ridges. I knew that if I continued I would need to buy more yarn, and it was a nice lap size to begin with so I decided to finish off.

I used an I-cord bind off rather than a standard bind off because I wanted to make sure the edge was nice and stretchy.
