Notes

This hat started out as white Lopi yarn that I bought from the LYS and dyed using kool-aid. I hand-painted the yarn by dividing it into four sections and painting two sections “lemon-lime” one “grape” and one “black cherry” The colors remind me of my favorite popsicle flavors hence the name. The color lengths are actually very short but I love how the hat looks like it’s striped. It’s not the colors just never pooled so it looks like rings of color. Fantastic. The pom-pom is a little anemic. I tried using the clover pom-pom maker but didn’t quite get it. I think it just ads charm. I can see this hat making me smile during the drab Wisconsin winters when color is certainly lacking.
