I did 6 repeats of the increase section, 8 repeats of the center section, and s6 repeats of the decrease section. The resulting scarf is bit longer than my wing span.

I would have added another repeat in the center, but I was worried about running out of yarn. Looking at the ball I have left over, I might have made it, but I might have been cursing myself with 2 rows to go also.
