Took some updated photos 7 years after casting this one off. As you can see, the yarn has held up fantastically. I love superwash wool that actually holds up to being washed in the washing machine. So many yarns are “superwash” but really don’t hold up to a washing machine. I use the delicate cycle but I don’t take any other precautions, just throw it in when I have a load of delicates--yes that’s mostly knit things.

It does develop pills from time to time but I either pick them off by hand (I know, I know…) or I use a sweater stone to remove them. I’d say I do that about once a year when I start wearing knit things.

After all this time, I wish I had done the Jenny’s bind off around the arms and waist. I went up a needle size and tried to be as loose as possible doing the k2tog bind off but they are still tight. I have never much liked the look of Jenny’s bind off, but I always regret when I consider using it and then don’t. It’s time to concede that the supper stretchiness of Jenny’s bind off outweighs the slightly odd looking transition to the bind off. Other than a looser bind off, there’s really not much I would change about this one. It is a good utility knit.
