Andrew has needed a new scarf for a long time. He has a gross one that I made for him early on in my knitting career but it’s pretty ugly. I found this pattern through ravelry and it’s very easy but looks very cool (and hard if you don’t know how to knit) Warm and soft--thumbs up.

This was my first time using Swish Bulky and I have to echo what some people have said that it doesn’t really knit up a a bulky gauge. This scarf was knit on US 10.5s and it wasn’t nearly as plush and other people’s look in their pictures. I think if this were knit on anything bigger than 11s it would be pretty see-through. That being said it is soooo amazingly soft, just be sure to check gauge carefully if you’re making a project where gauge actually matters.
