I’m finally getting around to knitting up my cotton samplers that I got from KnitPicks over a year ago. This yarn and patter was part of the Victorian sampler. I started working on it because I needed small “goodbye” gifts for the people I work with in the admissions office. These will be for Lynn since her office is always freezing. I don’t know what the pattern doesn’t have you provisionally cast on and then ktichner the lace part together, there’s not reason to have a seam. I’m not doing the picot bind off around the fingers and thumb because it doesn’t look that good in people’s pictures and it’s a little too girly for Lynn. Instead I’m leaving the thumb hole as it’s shaped in the pattern and doing 3 rows of k1p1 ribbing around the fingers.
