First testknit for Annamaria Ötvös. First time I knit with Alize yarns.

Cast on again for size XS2 because my stitch gauge is 16sts/4”. Knitted up to the pocket section of the pattern.

Lengthened the body to size XL and began knitting the pockets.

I didn’t knit on this for one day in order to get the cable with the good length for my sleeves (it was on another project…) But now I’m back to it and halfway through the first sleeve. I cannot wait to wear this cardigan!

After being a naughty tester and not knitting as much as I should on my cardigan, it is finally soaking in a bath before blocking.
This pattern was great to knit, very clear, I learned a lot of little tips and it was fairly quickly knitted.
The yarn was great to knit, we’ll see how it works in time. And the internet shop I got it from was super efficient and helped me when I ran out of yarn.

After trying on my sweater I realised it grew a lot. I will have to rip off and re-knit the body and sleeves. But at least I’ll be able to knit the proper number of buttonholes :)

My cardigan is blocking again after 5 days of intensive re-knitting (I had to rip almost half of both sleeves and the body and re-knit it). But now it doesn’t seem like there will be any other problem.
My new cardigan looks great and I’m really looking forward to wearing it. This test was amazing and I’m ready to test again for Annamaria if she ever lets me do so :)
