This is a felted project using In-Silk roving (in three colors) and two colorways of multi pencil roving (for blending). The ironwork (using In-Silk yarn) was embroidered free-hand after the felting (and sewing) was complete. In-Silk yarn was also used to make the shoulder straps.

The bodice is fully lined and is fastened with hooks up the back seam.

The “stars” are 29 LED lights, hand-sewn into the bodice (under the lining) and powered by three AA batteries.
