12/06 - starting this mara hesitantly after reading through all the comments regarding the poorly written pattern. I’m going to start a test knit with some cheap yarn before I attempt it with my lush tosh DK.

13/06 - test knit was coming out lopsided and after much analysis and re-reading comments I realised that the st created by the YO before the marker was falling on the LH side of the marker and hence the increase was only being made on the left side of the piece.
To fix this I decided to add an extra marker to help me identify the spine better and to ensure that there was always only 1st between those markers. I have to make sure that I knit the YO increase on the right-hand side of the marker.

Row 1: (RS): k2, yo, pm, k1, pm, yo, k2.
Row 2: (WS): k to end (7 stitches total)
Row 3: (RS): k2, yo, knit to marker, yo, slip marker, k1, slip marker, yo, k to last 2 stitches, yo, k2.
Continue working rows 2 and 3 until shawl measures desired width across.

02/09 - lost at yardage chicken during BO and I didn’t want to frog it back so when there was such a small section left so I fudged the last 60cm with some scrap yarn of a similar colour.
