Notes

I couldn’t resist a little multi-pack of brightly coloured yarn in Tiger, which came as a set of 10g balls. It’s a fairly naff acrylic but the colours were so tempting and it made a couple of cheering and very quick little knits for my daughter.

For the scarf I cast on 20 stitches and striped the colours in a K1, P1 pattern. I ended up doing 18 stripes of each colour and used the leftovers to make tiny pom-poms.

For the hat I cast on 108 stitches and knit in the round, striping on every second row with 3 stripes of each colour. I decreased whenever seemed appropriate, to get a hat that would fit my 1-year old. Alas she didn’t want to stand still and model it, hence the blurry shots!
