This pattern presented two challenges for me:

1. the knitty-link didn’t work for me, so I tried the french version, which I decoded using this wonderful germnan-french knitting dictionaire: http://orlili.over-blog.com/pages/Lexique_Tricot_Crochet_...
2. there are far too many edge stitches (my weak point)

I ended up frogging it … but I really like the pattern, so I might try again.
