For my dear friend Jill. We’ve been friends since college.

I used a different cast-on, selvedge, and bind-off than I used in my first Claddagh (Alasdair Post-Quinn’s suggested methods for above on “Corvus”). It produces a bi-color cast-on & bind-off, and a thin line of opposite color on one edge. Original pattern produces one-color cast-on & bind-off, and bi-color edging on both sides. I like both results, but found Alasdair Post-Quinn’s methods easier to master.

I used more traditional Irish colors (greens) for this one.

While zooming in on the pics I uploaded for this project, only then did I discover a mistake, one stitch on one side only, noted in the pic above below the sad face. I pondered what to do about it and ran it by on forum. I did NOT want untangle where I attached the loop to the pot holder, unloop the loop, and go over 6 rows and then ladder down 18. Considered duplicate stitching, but then came up with something I’m happy with. Pulled the errant stitch down with light colored needle and thread, to make it look like a knitted stitch and not purled. (See pic with needle & thread, stitch is below happy face :)
