couldn’t think how to join the 5 point at least not in a straight line so l did a 6 point so joining is easy

Have seen them in 3colours or more but one colour less ends to deal with
I’ve done a huge selection of colours….my Christmas tree baubles are all bright mixed colours so l wanted to keep this theme the same this year

To make a 6point star just start with 5 chain and then 6 x 3 sets of DOUBLE CROCHET instead of 5

CHAIN 4 JOIN WITH A SLIP ST

1ST ROUND 15 DC IN TO CIRCLE (1st DC is 3 chain)
NOTE: DIVIDE THE 15 DC UP INTO GROUPS OF 3 DC WITH 2 CHAIN STITCHES IN BETWEEN IF YOU WANT A MORE ‘FLOWER LOOKING CENTRE RATHER THAN A CIRCLE

2ND ROUND EVERY 3RD DC IF A CIRCLE OR THE CHAIN SPACE IF GROUPED DO 3DC IN EVERY ONE WITH 3CHAIN IN BETWEEN SLIP ST TO FINISH

3RD ROUND START IN A LOOP * 2DC 1 TREBLE 3 CHAIN 1 TREBLE 2DC ALL IN THE LOOP THEN A SINGLE CROCHET IN THE NEXT 2 STITCHES* THEN REPEAT TO END

4TH ROUND TO MAKE A SNOWFLAKE
