17 days start to finish! I was worried about running out of yarn toward the end there, but managed to get it done with more leftovers than I thought I’d have. It’s going to have to wait at least a week before blocking, but it should be lovely when it’s finished.

Used smaller needles than the pattern called for to get a less lacy fabric, and did 5 repeats across instead of 7 to get a narrower scarf rather than shawl - I wanted a light winter scarf that I could wrap around my neck several times and still have the coverage without the heavy weight suffocating me.

Unblocked, it’s about 80 inches long and 13 inches across. I probably won’t block too aggressively so as not to make it too huge.

And blocked! Pinned out, it’s about 20.5” x 74”, but I’m expecting the width to go down a bit when I unpin it. Had some uneven edge tension, so one end is more tightly blocked than the other, but hey, it’s not like anyone’s going to come up to me and check the tension and measure the width, so I think I’m OK. ;)
