Loved this pattern as soon as I saw it, so when I had the chance months later to go in person to the Nordic Mart in California I scooped up the yarns for it. Happened to be during the 35% off cotton summer sale too! Exactly the yarns called for in the pattern, so nice.

Knit from the front bottom edge, up over the shoulders, and down the back. Used a stretchy BO for the front neck and cable CO for the back neck cast on, and I think it’s too stretchy. Will probably go down a needle size or two to pick up and knit the finishing stitches around the neckline.

This is pretty bulky -- for some reason I wasn’t expecting it to look quite so chunky on. Maybe it’ll drape better once it’s been washed. I also kind of wish I’d made the sleeves narrower and arranged the colors so that the pinks were closer to my face -- beige and golds are pretty much the least flattering colors to me.

The yarn is pretty nice -- I finished with none of the light pink and only a little of the beige leftover. I had a lot of the other colors leftover, and even a full ball of the peach.
