PDF pattern. Based on vintage baby bonnets this will make a lovely gift for a newborn baby. I knit this using a baby cashmerino yarn, but you could use any good quality double knitting yarn. It uses under 50g. This will fit 0-3 months, the lace pattern produces a very stretchy fabric.

For this design you can use 4ply sock yarn or any other 4ply yarn, so the mittens can be knitted for a boy or a girl. You can leave the cuff long to cover the arm, or fold it over.
