Crochet: Electronics Cozy
Sometimes I find myself without a pocket in which to put my phone, like when I’m working in the garden. A little pouch on a strap is just the thing to solve that dilemma. Using just two basic stitches – single crochet and chain – a handy pouch can be made to protect your phone and keep your hands free.
Crochet: Scarf
The Sara Scarf is made of motifs that are joined as you go. A versatile pattern similar to the spider lace motif, it utilizes loops on the sides to make the joins, not unlike Bruges lace. The center utilizes cluster stitches to add depth and texture.
Crochet: Ankle Sock
Patterns for baby socks abound, but here is a pattern/tutorial with some updated techniques. Included are photos and clear instructions for making the ribbing, heel, and toe. This is a good pattern for someone who is making their first sock. It was written especially for a CAL group of wide-ranging skills.
