Knitting: Ankle Sock
A shortcut to mushrooms socks are a creative collaboration with my friend Jule from Woollentwine Fiberstudio. This collab is based on her new sock yarn that is nylon free, 50% Jacob and 50% Cheviot fibers. It’s an amazing yarn to knit with and the end result are a very cosy pair of socks with an amazing aura.
Knitting: Mittens
Hild is a valkyrie in norse myth. She is the personification of battle. But in our world, which is not fairy tales and fantasy, I think putting on mittens instead of putting on armor is the better choice.
Knitting: Pullover
Huldra is a cosy raglan sweater with stranded knitting. The sweater has floats all over, which adds warmth and fullness to it. Anna Sjösvärd first made a pair of mittens with similar dots and got obsessed with the stitch pattern!

Embla is described as one of the first humans in norse myth created from the elm tree. The cables and lace represent the intertwining branches and the sun shining through the leaf crown.
Knitting: Pullover
The largest tree in the world. The three roots twisting into realms and the branches reaching above the sky.

I named this pattern “Pomona” because of my love of both the Harry Potter Universe and classical mythology. Many of the names in the Harry Potter series have their roots in mythology, and this is no exception.
