Great for St. Patrick’s Day!
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These were designed specifically for my mom, who is ALWAYS cold. They have a standard ribbed cuff, a short ribbing at the top, and are bordering by a frilly picot cluster. Cuff, trim and thumb are worked in individual rounds, joining after each. Palm is worked in a continuous round.

Named “College Girl” slouchie as I created the pattern originally because of a special request from my wonderful daughter.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Box In a Bow looks very intricate, but once you get the sequence of the 3 primary rows to create the look, you’d be surprised how fast this works up. The edge is a series of DC and CH sequences, then the last row gives it a little decorative touch with a tiny picot.
Crochet: Convertible Gloves
Winter Blues Texting Mitts are created with the age old waistcoat stitch, also known as crochet stockinette or split single crochet. Because of the denseness, the pattern uses a good part of a full skein of 4ply worsted weight I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby, in “Royal”.
Crochet: Scarf
This only uses about 1/2 the skein of Chrysalis, and 1/3rd of the Woolease skein.
