I was asked to make a shawl similar to a wall hanging made by their grandmother 99 years ago.. this is my take on it..

I made this for our reiki master/teacher/instructor, a prayer shawl. Hence the name lol

Quick knit, great gift for owl lovers. fits large child, teen, small to medium adult hand, by using a size up on needles or going with a thicker worsted weight yarn like Red Heart’s with Love it will fit a larger hand.

The angel is surrounded by stocking stitch. The main body of the towel is done in knit stitch. The hood is grafted at the top.

pattern uses size 6 and 8 US dpns, both gloves are made the same, a bit of scrap yarn is needed for the after thought thumb

The Raven Tarot Bag is knit in one piece, no seams. It is started using the Eastern cast on ( optional ), then knit in the round until the cabled flap which is knit flat.

Lacy and loose around wrists, scrap yarn ( after thought ) thumb. Beads sewn on after knitting.

Okay this is the second cloth I made as a joke for DH ending his jury duty.

I thought it would be funny if I made DH a cloth or two with a jury duty theme to celebrate the end of his 3 month service. You know cleaning up crime, one dishcloth at a time ; )

The first part of this pattern ( heel ) is worked flat then seamed up the back. The foot and toes are worked in the round. I went with 2 strains held together through out.

This pattern is for larger wrist sizes, but can be adjusted up or down by changing the amount of panel stitches ( the purl stitches on both ends of the repeat )

This pattern was made for my father-in-law. He is a slight man who is now in a wheelchair. With that in mind, the pattern is snug, and highly textured for a better grip. They can be worn on either hand, for even wear and durability.

This cloth was made using the Tunnel lace stitch found in one of the Harmony guides with a simple knit stitch broader.

After over a year trying to find the just right hat pattern for my guys I gave up. I came up with this pattern. It lays flat on top, not too heavy and bulky, a loose fit but stays on.
