Knitting: Cowl
Perfect for spring/summer, a one-skein 100% cotton cowl, which you can make into a moebius (twist it before sewing the ends) or a scarf (don’t sew it!). Add another skein and you can make it longer!
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl can be worn as is or wrapped once, and you could probably even wear it as a head wrap. It looks like a cable, but it’s not -- it’s really easy; I’d put this in the “TV knitting” or “out in public” category.
Knitting: Cowl
A little luxury for your neck, the pattern is for a scarf worked back and forth with an alternate chart/instructions for making a cowl instead.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I like to go running, but need something to keep my head warm but not sweaty. This is the perfect hat, and it goes with my running jacket.
Knitting: Cowl
This only uses about half the skein, so make two! If you need to make it bigger, cast on more stitches in multiples of 10.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Need 1 ball MC, 1 ball CC to make this interesting optical illusion hat. The colorwork is pretty simple, with a few long floats. I hate long floats…
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is an interesting but fairly easy knit. The scarf pin is not available; the maker only sells at art/jewelry shows and I have no information about dates or locales.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Any resemblance to a Fossil Jenna hat is highly suspicious. This beanie is quick and easy, one skein will make 2.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf uses just one skein, or you can sub other mohair yarns. Use a needle size that’s 1-2 sizes bigger than what is called for on the ball band.
Knitting: Scarf
This easy pattern is a good start to lace. You can substitute fingering (sock) yarn if you want; silk is rather slippery. If you do use silk, put the ball in a little ziplock baggie and don’t close the zipper all the way.
