The pattern is written out and contains color photos. The hat is worked using half-double crochet and the other stitches used are treble, double, single, slip stitch and chain stitches.

Worked in the round, the body and head are made together and all the other pieces are assembled. The pattern is written out with many pictures from different angles.

This pattern has three options for eyes (knit, crochet and “other”) and is the knitted version of my crocheted Tweedy Owl Hat.

Cast on number should be 56, not 54. Sorry! Fixed now :)
