This pattern is part of a Trans Canadian Collection of mine. It is simple enough to knit while watching tv or on the train to an adventure. It is knit in the round on and with worsted.

These wristlets are perfect for casting spells, battling dementors, and of course playing pranks on undesirable individuals. The thumb is created using waste yarn to be removed after main mitten is finished.

As Canadians and Maritimers we live and breathe on the ice. For those of us off the ice braving the weather, here is the perfect sock for you. My family has used them to shovel, hunt, watch children on recess duty, and even just a cozy pair of socks in bed.

These mittens are warm and double lined to keep out the cold! They are written as an adult size but simply removing one chevron stripe at the cuff line or adding a ripple to the top of the ripples, will easily make this mitten a custom fit for you!!

These mittens remind me of the hills and valleys that Radagast tends to in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The mittens are knit from cuff to tip and have a small chart in the middle. The size is “adult”, but simply adding more rounds before or after the chart for length will not disturb the pattern.

This cowl is knit in the round super quickly. I bet you could even get it done on an Unexpected Journey!

This pattern is a continuation of my Breakfast Waffles Collection in my Ravelry Store. These mittens give you leway to add length where needed. They’re stretchy so they fit a ladies small hand while also fitting a man’s medium. Even with a ladies small I still have 1/2 a skein of the worsted weight AND 1/2 a skein of the DK weight when finished.

I’ve chosen to knit the cowl with much smaller needles than the band suggests for two reasons. Firstly, it’s quite cold where I live and I didn’t want the wind to seep through the inevitable spaces between my stitches, and secondly, I felt the denser look suited the pattern just perfectly.

This pattern is designed to fit a foot of 8 inches long, however instructions are provided for you to obtain desired length. I have made these socks for a TALL TALL man and only required 2 full skeins.

This pattern is created so that the length of your foot is your choice. You pattern until your foot measures 1.5inches less than your total foot length (for me that is my foot less my toes). I hope you all enjoy this pattern and have a ball!

These socks are top down cabled beauties knitted on circular needles. You can, however, use dpns as long as you have some stitch markers handy to mark your places.

To make this pattern larger I suggest increasing the hook size to a K. It will give you about an inch more around.
