Jaipur Wrap

This cardigan is named after my maternal grandmother, Helena, who was a young woman in the 1940s. The front is knit in a vintage pattern from the same era. The design has been brought up to date by adding a rib knit back which creates a fitted and much more current silhouette

This design is reminiscent of a super simple ethnic design – yet with the variation of the little winged sleeve created by 2 diagonal lines forming a point. The point covers the arm to the elbow. The design looks good left open, or with a fine belt to accentuate the waist as in the photo.
