Crochet: Baby Blanket
Part of the fun of babies is how tiny everything about them is. Celebrate their adorable little feet with this textured blanket pattern! You can easily change the colors to make this blanket suitable for a boy or a girl. And how cute would it be to make a pair of these for twins? You could simply work the rows in reverse to get a mirror image o...
Crochet: Baby Blanket
Switching colors in C2C often requires a lot of weaving in ends. To avoid this, each time I changed color, I used my tapestry needle to pull the tail of the previous color through my work and up to the next row. Then I could crochet over the tail with the matching color on the next row.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
Perfect for a rainbow baby or a rainbow-themed nursery! The resulting blanket is quite thick and heavy, so I recommend this project for fall or winter babies.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
This is a great blanket for a summer baby or a beach-themed nursery. This design grew out of a baby blanket I made for my nephew, but it could work for a boy or a girl.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
When I was trying to make ChiWei Ranck’s Adirondack Wrap (free on Ravelry), I did a very silly thing and sewed the panels together in the wrong configuration, making three-fourths of a square. However, that turned out to be a great shape to wrap around one’s shoulders without having to worry about it constantly slipping out of place. And so thi...

I used the entire cake for my scarf, both to see how long it would be and to get all the color changes, but you could probably make multiple shorter scarves out of a single cake.

Crochet: Christmas Stocking
Decorate for an old-fashioned Christmas with this classic stocking! This richly textured piece uses half double crochets in the back loop to give the stocking both a ribbed look and the impression of cables. Best of all, this pattern uses a front piece and a back piece—no struggling to make and attach a heel or a toe!
Crochet: Baby Blanket
Make a cozy leaf pile for a fall baby! This project creates a thick, warm blanket for a special little person. It could also make a great lap blanket for an adult.

Add some vintage style to your hangers (and keep your clothes from sliding off) with this cover! The second photo shows a series of these covers that I made for a customer.
