Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Knitting is all about connecting—not only joining one stitch to another, one row to the next, but also using traditional stitch patterns that connect us to knitters who have come before us—and to those who will follow.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Sister-In-Law Shawl is named after my sister-in-law, Carmen, who frequently gifts me yarn for my birthday, and who inspired this design.

Mermaid Tails is a modified triangle shawl, designed to stay put, no matter how active you are. With an easy-to-memorize 2-row pattern, it works up quickly and can be made any size.
Crochet: Poncho
Finished poncho is about 67cm (26”) long at centre front/back and has a collar that can be worn both ways. Buttoned, the collar forms a turtleneck. If the poncho is turned around (so the back becomes the front) and the collar is unbuttoned, it becomes a shawl collar with button embellishment.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
This antique pattern features easy knitting rhythms, making it perfect for a first lace project. The edging was commonly used in Victorian times for the hem of baby’s baptismal gown. Pairing it with a traditional diamond pattern creates a connection with our sister knitters who made similar items over a hundred years ago.

The rainbow, with its gradual colour gradation, is created by knitting with two strands of lace weight yarn, changing only one strand at a time as you work your way through the spectrum. The end result is a stunning wrap or scarf!
