This pattern was originally published in the Sock Knitting Bible in 2021, and is available for individual purchase since 2023.
Knitting: Tube Sock
The Tornado Toes socks have a stretchy spiraling rib pattern, which makes it possible to just knit a ‘tube’ sock without a heel. The rib stretches to fit your heel. This also means that the socks will be able to fit kids as they grow, as there is no fixed heel placement.

Scrappy Socks are so much fun to knit! Not only because you’ll be using a lot of colours, but also because each yarn scrap will remind you of the other project(s) you made with it! Plus, you can use even the tiniest scrap of yarn in your stash and use up yarns you wouldn’t use otherwise. Isn’t that great?

This is a top-down yoke sweater with colourwork patterns all over. The yarn used is Scheepjes Metropolis, of which the colourways are all named after cities around the world, hence the name of this sweater!

The Wild Strawberry socks use a Swedish knitting technique from around 1939 called Bohus Stickning. It features both colourwork knitting and the combination of knit and purl stitches, creating an interesting textured fabric. Traditionally, the Bohus technique is used on a mix of light wool and angora yarns.

Colourwork socks are so much fun! The possibilities are endless.. There are so many stitch patterns to choose from, so many yarns to combine.. and they’re a very entertaining knit as well. It’s important to pay attention to the chart though, as it is easy to slip and make a mistake.

“Freezeblocks” is the winter adaptation of my “Breezeblocks” Shawl design. The added strand of mohair makes for a delightfully warm and fuzzy fabric. It’s narrower and longer than its summery sister shawl, so you can comfortably wrap it around your neck.

Meet the Alpine Haze shawl, a feather light wrap made out of mohair yarn. It may be thin, but it will still cover you with a welcome layer of warmth. A beautiful shawl to gift! Knit on 4 mm needles, it is a fairly quick knit. The simple lace pattern is easy to remember, which makes for a perfect TV-knitting project.
