Michigan can get a little bit dreary when it gets chilly, so I wanted to make something that would keep sunshine on my mind as the leaves start to change!

I wanted to create something springy that provided some coverage but still let light in, kind of like Sunshine Through Cedars!

grHatitude was born from a need for something simple and pretty that is a quick enough knit that it can be completed last minute. I also wanted something without too overwhelming a pattern - I know not everyone likes their accessories as funky as I tend to!

My fella asked me to make him a warm, low profile hat to wear under his bicycle helmet when it’s cold outside, so I grabbed some sock yarn from my stash, and this hat was born! I liked it so much I decided to make a slightly different one for under my bike helmet, too. I knit tightly and he has an XL head so feel free to go down a needle size.
