Knitting: Pullover
I created this sweater pattern for Miss Myla Mae, as she loves kitties so much. I made it with acrylic for her mother’s ease in was 1hing it….but plan to work up one in Superwash Merino sometime in the future. The photos of the smaller sample will be posted in the next week. This pink sample was worked up in a size 5. The pattern includes sizes...
Knitting: Vest
This pattern is to fit very loosely. The model pictured is wearing a size large sample when she normally would wear an XL. It just fits her a bit more snuggly than intended. I hope to add pictures soon with it on a large size model. This pattern includes ribbing, colorwork, Latavian braids and lace work. links to video tutorials on some parts a...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern was created to help teach cable basics to my knitting students. It is also named for my daughter, Anita. It is fairly simple to knit as it has only 1 type of cable stitch. I used Hobby Lobby Yarn called Effortless Super Bulky in colors Biscotti and Neptune horizon, for my samples. This is an acrylic and alpaca blend yarn. I like ho...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I created this pattern as an easier pattern to teach stranded knitting to my students. And living in the midwestern USA, this hat will provide some comfort this winter during outdoor activities. It uses roughly 65 yards of the main color and 45 yards of the accent color. In my samples I used Malabrigo Rasta in boomerang (the blue sample), and m...
Knitting: Potholder
This double-sided potholder is worked in around as a tube, then sewn together at the bottom and top to have it lay flat and display the design on each side. It can easily be worked up in whatever size needle you desire to increase or decrease the size. I like cotton yarn for my potholders, but I am aware that some like to use wool….You can use ...
Knitting: Potholder
This pattern was created for me to use in my stranded knitting classes to teach stranded knitting to beginners. It also fits in perfectly with my daughters’ cottage themed apartment. It is knitted in the round and sewn shut afterwards to form a double thick potholder with the design on both sides. It uses 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight ...
Knitting: Potholder
This fern frond patterned potholder is worked in a round and then sewn shut at the ends to create a double thick potholder. I use any 100% cotton yarn in worsted weight….but some like to make potholders from wool as well. I used a US size 7 or 4.5mm circular or DPNs…but you make size down or up to get your desired potholder size. My potholder m...
Knitting: Potholder
This stranded colorwork, double sided, potholder pattern was worked up using Hobby Lobby’s I love this cotton yarn…but any worsted weight cotton yarn will work just fine. I know some prefer wool for their potholders, that would work fine as well, as long as it is worsted weight. This pattern was inspired by my business coaching retreat on doing...
Knitting: Potholder
This double thick cotton potholder is worked using 2 contrasting strands of #4 cotton yarn. It can be adjusted in size by changing the sized DPNs you use. My potholder measured approximately 6 inches square with size 4 DPNs….It can also be adjusted by adding more solid rows at the top, bottom and between the graph repeats.
Knitting: Potholder
This pattern creates a 6.5” square potholder…if you would like it smaller or larger, you can change out the size needle or add extra solid rows to the beginning and end as well as between the pattern repeats. This potholder is double sided and thick….perfect even for cast iron kettles and pans. I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this cotton, but any w...

Patrick and Patricia are ready to join your family and become a treasured animal doll. They make great gifts too. This pattern includes the amigurumi for the pig patterns as well as the clothing patterns. Knitting: Pullover
This sweet little newborn hoodie sweater is only available in the newborn size…more sizes will be added in the future. I used a circular needle in U.S. size 6 as well as DPNs in U.S. size 6. Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This lovely dishcloth/tea towel pattern is the 5th in a series named for the women in my family to honor them. It has a lacework center that has a boarder worked around it with mitered corners. I liked working the center on a circular needle US size 6 and then worked the boarder on DPNs US. size 3. This is a good pattern for an advanced beginne...
Knitting: Towel, Washcloth / Dishcloth
This is the 4th dishcloth pattern released in a series named for the women in my family. This one is named for my sweet young niece who loves the little heart like stitches all over it. This is an intermediate beginner pattern. It isn’t hard but understanding how to work the loops that form the hearts can be a bit different. There are pictures ...
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This pattern is worked on DPNs from the center out. It is switched to circular needles for the last 2 rows. I am listing it as an intermediate pattern just because of being on DPNs and having the first few rows be rather clumsy with all the needles. It really isn’t hard once you get past the first 5 or 6 rounds. This is the third pattern in the...
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This pattern is a fairly simple way to start lace work stitches. It uses some yarn overs and some k2tog and SL2tog type steps. This is a diagonally worked Irish Moss stitch pattern. You may use whatever worsted weight cotton yarn you prefer….the pattern work with needles sizes 4 - 8 US sizes…I prefer size 6 as it isn’t too tight, but not super loose either.
