Pattern is written for scarf or shawl. You need 328 yards each of 2 contrasting colors for a scarf or 656 yards each of 2 contrasting colors for a shawl. You could use a fingering or a sport weight yarn.

My daughter described to me a hat she saw someone wearing and this pattern was my attempt to duplicate that hat. It turned out to be one of her favorites and I’ve had to make several since then! I hope you enjoy making and wearing this fun hat. I can’t wait to try more color combinations!
Knitting: Cowl
I love all of the beautiful gradient yarns that are available right now. I looked through some lace chart ideas and decided on this subtle decorative pattern. The weight of the yarn makes a lovely, delicate neck wrap for those “between season” days when a heavy scarf would be too much. I hope you enjoy making this pattern.
Knitting: Cowl
You can use any chunky yarn, but you will want it to have long strands of color before a color change in order to get defined rectangles. Another option is to pick 2 contrasting colors and change colors with each tier.
Knitting: Feet / Legs - Other, Boot Cuffs / Toppers

Knitting: Scarf
I saw a fabric version of this pattern and fell in love with it. I searched for a knitted or crochet version and only found a loom version, so I decided to write my own. These are very fun to make and you certainly get lots of positive comments when you wear it!
Knitting: Electronics Cozy
My LYS sold a little booklet with this yarn with the cutest little monsters, that matched the colorways of the yarn. I decided there should be a monster pattern to knit with this great yarn! Super simple - knit in the round.
