A good sized shawl in 3 colours of Worsted weight yarn. I knitted the sample in Cascade 220 superwash for a comfy, soft and squishy shawl for winter use.

Using DK yarn this blanket creates a lighter fabric for a baby blanket with a pretty shell pattern through out.

Pattern is set for a specific size in DK but included in the instructions is how to adjust the foundation chain length to make a bigger / smaller blanket - also suggestions for Worsted / Aran and Chunky Yarn.

Gauge with 4.5mm hook is rows 1 to 10 or pattern = 3 x 3 inches
