Knitting: Accessories - Other
This is a great way to use up some scraps while helping out those on the front lines. I strongly suggest using cotton, acrylic, or other non-animal fiber so that these can be washed in hot water without risk of felting.
Knitting: Cuffs
These are some arm warmers for dialysis patients. It allows the port for the dialysis, and keeps their fingers easily available for checks by medical personnel. The arm warmer keeps their arms from getting cold as they sit during dialysis.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I was using an unlabeled skein of DK-weight yarn that had been donated for the sake of making chemo caps. I decided to just double it up and create a hat to use it. I would’ve tried my hand at creating a crochet pattern with it, but I kept running out of it before I could finish the hat properly, so I went with knitting since it uses less yarn.
Crochet: Coaster
I’ve found out that some cupholders are a little larger than mine. If that seems to be the case for you, then just add another round of sc or dc…whichever will fit. My cupholders are probably just short of 3” in diameter, so I don’t mind the coasters being a smidge smaller so that I can grab them out of there easier, but I know other folks may ...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The finished hat will be approximately 10inches long, with an approximately circumference of 18inches, but due to the ribbing, easily fits a full-grown man’s head (typically 22inches). PDF link is at the bottom of the blog post where the pattern resides.
