Knitting: Ankle Sock
Solving the incorrigible clog wearer’s summer sock dilemma. Like the Turkish Bed Socks but toe-up, and almost no sewing.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
This is a short cuff-down, heel-flap-and-gusset sock, with fair-isle butterflies around the calf and a bigger intarsia one on the heel-flap. It uses one skein of Shepherd Sock for the main color, and maybe 1/3 of a skein for the contrast color.

Knitting: Cardigan
This is basically an Elizabeth Zimmerman style raglan cardigan in a size for a one-year-old. It has very little purling, because I’m lazy. The raglan shoulders and straight sleeves (no ribbing at the bottom) make it a good sweater for fast-growing kids; it starts out as a warm jacket and slowly morphs into a chic bolero with 3/4 length sleeves.
