Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I had made the shawl Bigger on the Inside by Kate Atherley for my roomie who is a Huge Dr. Who fan. I have always preferred to make mitts when possible to go with the shawls. Since I had plenty of yarn left over, I came up with these.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
So I Had Some Yarn… is a true sampler shawl. I picked several knitted patterns that I liked but they can easily be changed to something else as long as it is a multiple of 2 stitches. You can switch the panels around, use all one colour…….it’s truly a “have fun” design.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a true seamans scarf made originally for my father who sadly passed away before I could gift it to him.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern was designed to go with the Ellian Shawl by Deb Scudder. It was made using the left over yarn from the shawl. The yarn is wonderfully soft and warm making this the perfect mitt for driving on a cold day!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a sideways shawl designed to showcase strong self-striping yarns. The pattern is both charted and written. I used approx 3 1/2 skeins of Red Heart “Green Envy” to reach a blocked size of 88 x 22.5. It can be worked with any size yarn/needles but the end result will vary.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is an easy sideways shawl designed to showcase self-striping sock yarn. It can be made with any weight yarn but it will change the yardage requirement. Since it’s worked sideways, just increase until halfway through your yarn then decrease until done. Please feel free to contact me if you notice any errors.
