Knitting: Stocking
This modern design of the classic striped stocking cap uses chunky yarn and is quick and easy to make. The hat is knit in the round in SS using 2 circular needles.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This easy cable pattern is fun to make and comfortable to wear. The vertical cables bring slimming lines and interesting texture and help to provide a snug fit to keep active hands warm inside or out. Using Cascade 220 washable yarn makes them incredibly warm and so easy to rinse out and air dry as needed.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This traditional vine lace pattern travels up your arm and wraps it in warmth. The soft Cascade 220 Sport yarn provides a smooth luster finish and is just the right weight for inside or out.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These fingerless gloves are knit in stockinette st and feature garter st and one row of eyelet to dress up the cuff and keep the fingers stretchy. The soft Cascade 220 Sport yarn provides a smooth luster finish and is just right the right weight for inside or out.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is worked in the round on one circular needle. Each row consists of 10 pattern repeats and 3 pattern repeats make the length.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat pattern was inspired by the hat Scotty Simon Pegg wore in the Star Trek movie. My version is knit in the round, is 19-20 inches long with a ribbed band, and great for men and women.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
When I saw this beautiful hand-dyed butterscotch merino sock yarn I was inspired to create a long lacy shawl - and this pattern is the result! This pattern combines two of my favorite lace patterns with a simple lace border.
Knitting: Earflap Hat
This pattern is knit in the round in stockinette stitch with a premium washable acrylic/wool blend yarn. The earflaps are knit flat and worked on in the cast on row of the hat. The pattern features alternative instructions for decreasing the cap, crochet or applied I-cord trim, braided or rope ties, and extra large size.
